Our Story
Swiss MPC was founded with a clear mission: to provide manufacturers of medical devices and combination products with the senior-level regulatory expertise they deserve, without the overhead and inefficiency of large consulting firms.
Based in Cham, Switzerland with operations in Galway, Ireland, we bring together a team of seasoned regulatory professionals with deep expertise across EU MDR, FDA pathways, IEC 62304, UDI compliance, and quality management systems.
Every engagement is led by a senior consultant who serves as your single point of contact. We believe that regulatory consulting should be personal, responsive, and results-oriented. Our track record of 100% compliance success speaks to this approach.
The idea for Swiss MPC was born from a simple observation: too often, clients were forced to hire regulatory consultants on an FTE basis rather than a project basis, driving up costs and creating unnecessary management overhead. We founded Swiss MPC in 2018 to change this model — providing entire specialist teams under a single point of contact, with clearly defined scope, controlled costs, and measurable deliverables from day one.

Dr. Martin Walter
CEO & Managing Partner
Dr. Martin Walter holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oslo and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU München. With a career spanning Zimmer Biomet, BIOTRONIK, Johnson & Johnson, and patent law, he has led R&D, quality management, and regulatory compliance consulting in Switzerland since 2013. As CEO and co-founder of Swiss MPC, Martin specializes in risk management, product development, and EU MDR strategy.

Barry Keenan brings over 15 years of medical device industry experience from leading organizations including Zimmer Biomet, DePuy Synthes, Novartis, and CSL Behring. His diverse expertise spans multiple device categories and regulatory frameworks. As CTO and co-founder of Swiss MPC, Barry oversees all technical projects and ensures delivery excellence across every client engagement.
